The Tradition Continues - Thanks to Wonderful Volunteers!
The 4th of July Kids Bike Parade is on! Thanks to a number of wonderful volunteers who have stepped up and are pitching in to help make this annual event happen.
Many thanks to Tiffany Tyler, Charles Kuffner, Joann and Richard Lammons, Danielle Garcia, Charles Philpott, and Beth Sorensen and Michael Graves for volunteering to help out! You are all greatly appreciated!
Parade Details
Date: July 4th
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Norhill Esplanade.
Parade Start: 6:30 p.m. (or as soon as we can get the kids lined up)
Safety First
Our WHCA constable Patrol Deputies will also be on hand to provide safety and traffic control for the riders as they navigate around the esplande beginning at Euclid Avenue down Norhill to Bayland Avenue and back around Norhill to the parade's start and finish line.
Parade participants should lineup behind the red 1930 Model A Ford Coupe, and the 4th of July parade banner. Parents please remind your children to stay behind the lead vehicle and the banner to ensure they all stay safe.
Treats & Community
Come cheer the kiddos on and enjoy this neighborhood tradition. Everyone's invited and welcome to come! There will be treats treats (watermelon, popsicles, water, and waterloo) for kids and parents until supply runs out. There will also be a face painter at the treat tent. We hope to see you there for this annual Kids Bike Parade tradition.
This 4th of July Kids Bike Parade is part of the WHCA's events held throughout the year.
