What amazes everyone year after year is that Lights in the Heights is a free event manned almost totally by volunteers. Unfortunately over the years the cost of holding the event has risen quite sharply and the sales of merchandise and proceeds from the Lighter in the Heights garage sale just doesn't quite cover those costs. This is where we rely on the generosity of neighbors, friends and businesses. Your donation will help pay for security, sanitation, luminaria, and other operating costs that make the night a success. It costs a little more than $10,000 to operate Lights in the Heights. Gifts of any size, small or large, from people in our neighborhood are greatly appreciated and help us reach our goal.
