"Lighter in the Heights" Garage Sale
The 4th Annual "Lighter in the Heights" event, that helps support Lights in the Heights, will be held Saturday, October 25th. The official start time is 8:00am.

Proceeds will be used for street security during the 2008 Lights in the Heights® event.   Here’s how it works:  Contact Emily Guyre to let her know that you would like to participate in this neighborhood-wide (and we do mean the Greater Heights Area!)  garage sale.  She will provide you with a sign-up form; this form will also ask you to indicate how much of your sales you will donate to LITH (minimum 20%) and whether you want to have your “leftovers” picked up by a not-for-profit group.  If you just have a few items that you would just like to donate we will take those too!  We plan on having a mega-yard sale where 100% of the proceeds go to supporting Lights in the Heights®.

We will be advertising in the Houston Chronicle, the Greensheet, on Craig’s List, on the Infoline, and on the WH website.  This might even be a good opportunity to coordinate with your neighbors for a block garage sale!  On the day of the event, we will post signs, mark participating homes with balloons, and hand out route maps.
